Could those symptoms be a thyroid issue?

A blood test can reveal the status of your thyroid, including conditions like hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, and thyroiditis.

"Swollen neck," "fast pulse," "sweating all year round," "feeling generally unwell," "easily fatigued," "lack of motivation," "feeling cold," "always sleepy"

Do you experience any of these symptoms? It might be a thyroid disorder. While thyroid disorders are commonly said to be more prevalent in women, they can affect anyone, regardless of gender or age. Why not get tested?

What is the Thyroid?

The thyroid is a small organ located in the front of the neck, slightly below the Adam's apple, weighing about 10-15g. Its main function is to produce thyroid hormones and regulate the body's metabolism.

Test Items

TSH A hormone secreted from the brain (anterior pituitary) that acts on the thyroid gland to regulate thyroid hormone secretion. High levels suggest hypothyroidism, while low levels suggest hyperthyroidism.
F-T4 A hormone secreted by the thyroid gland involved in the body's metabolism. High levels suggest hyperthyroidism, while low levels suggest hypothyroidism.
F-T3 The active form of thyroid hormone that works in the body. About 20% is secreted directly from the thyroid, while the remaining 80% is converted from T4 within the body.
Ca Blood concentrations of Ca and IP are closely related to parathyroid hormone. Abnormalities can be clues to discovering hyperparathyroidism or hypoparathyroidism.
