This is a tumor marker (*) test specifically for cervical cancer, designed to detect tumor development in adnexal organs such as the cervix, uterine body, and ovaries. It is particularly recommended for those concerned about cervical cancer or those unable to undergo a gynecological examination on the day of their appointment. *Cannot be combined with the Cervical Cancer Screening.
These are abnormal proteins produced in the body when cancer develops. Measuring their levels in the blood serves as an auxiliary test to help diagnose the presence of cancer. Exceeding the reference value does not necessarily mean cancer is present. Conversely, cancer may exist even if the value is below the reference range.
